I'm back! :)

Wow! Here again - finally! Janssi & Minssi has been a reality for a half a year already and I've truly felt the guilt on me for not been writing after the opening of the store! Even though I totally anticipated that running my own business takes time, I did not expect to stop writing altogether. I'm so sorry you guys!

Since my own lifestyle has changed quite a bit due to Janssi & Minssi, I think it's better to alter this blog accordingly. Therefore, from now on, I will concentrate on posting pictures that inspire me instead of writing too much. The writing part causes some extra stress (I'm not really the Shakespeare type), so I promise to put extra effort into snapping away here and there and everywhere! :)

Before posting pictures from Copenhagen Fashion Week, I'll treat you with some eye candy... Serenity Cupcakes, that is, of course! :D

P.S. Comments and feedback is more than welcome!!

A cupcake? Yes, please!

I was going to start this post by writing about Copenhagen Fashion Week and what's up with next autumn/winter collections, but a very peculiar phenomenon caught my attention while visiting the city of Copenhagen. Cupcakes have taken Copenhagen by storm!

More and more bakeries specializing in cupcakes have open their doors and the variety of flavors is incredible. I was so intrigued by this whole cupcake thing that I just had to check out few places... First one was Serenity Cupcakes. This incredibly cosy and cute shop opened last August and is ready to fulfill your sugar needs with a long list of both traditional and untraditional flavors. I got to taste quite a few of them, but my favorite, Pumpkin Paradise rose above the others! YUMMY!!

The second place I visited was Agnes Cupcakes, which surely had some really pretty cupcakes, but did not appeal to me as much due to an interior resembling a fast food joint. For me it's all about the spirit of the shop! ;)

Then, lastly, I have to mention Cupcakes by Kronborg, which is owned by my very dear friend. She started out the business as a hobby and does the baking at home. I was so lucky to taste her creations and give my own opinion about the flavors of both cakes and toppings. While she's running her cupcake business, she is also studying for Master's Degree AND is a mom for a 1,5 year old! I'm so proud of her! <3
